METAMORPHOSIS

Change of physical form structure or substance by supernatural means.

I was raised in church.  I knew I would never measure up to the things that I was taught (religion means organized do’s and don’ts).  After many hurts, father and mother divorce, taken advantage of by older woman while in my early teens, fathers suicide, failed marriage, failed relationship where my first son was born, failed business, and basic total failure, I turned totally away from God as I knew him at that time.  I turned to the things of the world by my own choice, booze, women, drugs, abuse.  At the age of 32 I felt as though my world and life had come to an end.  That’s when Father God Papa met me right where I was at in a jail cell possibly headed to prison for ten years.  Funny thing is I wasn’t calling out for Him.  I was cursing Him for my life’s choices.  It was all about me at that moment.  But thru His grace he knew my every need.  I believe I went away in the spirit that day.  I made a deal with God,  Keep me out of prison and I’ll live my life to glorify you and your son Jesus.  At that very moment my life changed “One Step Jesus” and the desires and addictions for the world left me.  I found my identity in Christ.  I know who I am and I know my purpose.  I have a relationship with my Father Papa.  I talk to Him and He talks with me.  He’s my salvation, my provider, my protector, and my direction.  He’s everything to me.  Papa is so good.

I was approached by a man whom I’m very close to and asked, “Are You Ready?”  I said “Yes I’m Ready” and The Way Ministries began.  We go, we do, we are Papa’s hands and feet.  We are his mouth piece.  What the Father tells us to do we do.  I am a Co-founder/National Chaplain, God loving servant of my Father Papa.  Where I would speak trash, God has changed that to a language of prayer and life.  The time I spent drinking and chasing the bag and pushing, is spent in the service of My King and His Kingdom.  Where I was a violent man, loved to fight, God has turned that into hand shakes and hugs for all.  He has so much for us if we will only receive His son Jesus, His plan of salvation for our lives.  He blesses me everyday.  I’m a work in progress.  I have no desire to turn back.

And today is your day of salvation.  If you are reading this it’s not by fate or anything else you may call it.  God is speaking to you right now.  He has a great plan for your life so you may live it to its fullest.  If you’ve never made a connection with anything or anyone in this world, God is your answer.  Call on Him now.  He’ll meet your needs right where you are in Jesus’ name, the name above all names.  Amen.
