Like so many; in my late teens, I got into the drugs and alcohol, what I thought was helping me cope with life, was destroying me.  I stayed so intoxicated and drugged for the next 12 years I would not even know my mother’s name.  I went from 190 pounds to 129 pounds because of all the white crap that went up my nose.  I have over dosed many of times.  With paramedics and fire trucks rushing to my rescue I will look in the mirror and see the biggest loser, the biggest failure of all time.  I spent hundreds and thousands of dollars on anything that would twist my mind so I would not have to cope with life.  March 21 1990 I had an encounter with Jesus Christ that totally changed me, change my life forever. I’ve heard of the 12 step program, but for me, it was the one step program, “Jesus come into my heart, cleanse me from sin, Jesus help me, Jesus take away the addictions, be my Lord forever.” I’ve never been the same since, even though life still can throw a round house punch when you least expect it. Having the lord in my heart and life I’ve become an overcomer.

God had a plan for my life;  18 years before I ever became a part of The Way Riderz.  God had me down on K street mall, helping me, teaching me to become a street preacher.  Some of the greatest joys I’ve ever experience, is leading hurting sad unsaved people to the lord, letting them know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and a life.  No man cometh unto the father but through Jesus (John 14:6).  I have learned through the years that we as Christian soldiers are at War with the flesh, the world and the devil, and I love to be as much as possible on the front lines.

I met up with The Way Ministries three or four years ago and then became a part of the way Riderz soon after.  Riding motorcycles has become a huge part of my ministry in serving and helping the hurting. I ride with some of the greatest brothers and sisters in the lord, it truly is a blessing, being in ministry with The Way Riderz and all the people involved.
