As a young child I always knew of God but didn’t know God but after several years of poor choices and bad calls I found him. Through my teen years I ran and ran hard drugs, alcohol, and some criminal activities that at the age of 18 led to an incident where I was shot. Which was the start of my eye's being opened. Shortly after that time I joined the Marine Corps and got out of town. The Marine corps taught me a lot of things like honor, pride, and integrity. The one thing they couldn’t change was the feeling's I had inside, empty and what I guess they call hollow. So I spent the next couple of years in the comfort activity I could still do and be enlisted "Drink" and I did a lot of it. The military didn’t have a problem with it and it filled my voids. Towards the end of my time in the Corps unknown to me God brought me one of the greatest gifts I could of ever asked for which is my now wife. She helped pull me out of the bottle which plagued me for many of years. After some time and a big move back to the Sacramento area coupled with a carrier change life was seeming better, at least better than I had known it. About five years into our relationship she and a couple we hung out with convinced me to go to church one weekend. As they say the rest is history I found God in that building and my relationship with him has only grown since then. With His help my life has elevated higher than I ever thought possible. He grabbed a hold of me and I to him and I can't let go. As my life at that time seemed to be great the Lord then led me down the path to this Ministry. More people that understood and had walked similar lifestyles and loved God as I did what a great fit, the last five years here have just been the icing on the cake the lord gave me it has strengthened my beliefs and my walk with him. I am now proud to say "I KNOW GOD" and he blesses me all the time. So my final words to anyone who may be reading this is no matter what your actions in life may have been if you allow Jesus into your heart He will fill you with His love and will always be there for you.
