Finding My way in Life
By Carol Vera

Being raised Catholic had it’s challenges through my life. I was dragged
off to church to listen to someone preach for an hour and I wasn’t sure
what it was all about. I didn’t have an understanding of who God is and
how to pray. Unfortunatley, I went through my life this way feeling lost
and not sure what my purpose was. I went from church to church trying
to find where I belonged. What I found is that most places did not back
up what they said about helping the less fortunate, and the help they did
offer was far from a distance. I wanted to be involved in a ministry that
actually took care of the less fortunate and really cared about saving
souls. God brought into my life a wonderful lady named Cecelia who
was the wife of the Bishop, who worked with me at my last job. She
started to talk to me about going back to church, which I did. I was
welcomed, but it still wasn’t quite where I was supposed to be. She
told me about Biker Church. Knowing my background from years
ago of being in the biker world, she suggested I look into it. I have
found my home here. I have found a group of people who back up what
they say and who accept me the way I am. I have learned how to talk to
Jesus and pray. I can actually feel the Love from our Lord and from this
Great ministry.
